Noetic Learning Math Contest

• For: Students in grades 2, 3, 4 and 5.

• Location: <your school>

• Next Contest Date: April 12, 2012 (Make up dates: April 13-20)

• Registration Deadline: April 2, 2012

• Who May Register: Any school teacher or school administrator may register for the contest.

• Fee: $29 per grade level team (There is no limit on the number of students on a team from the same school )
  The registration fee includes Spring 2010 and Fall 2010 contest problems and solutions.

Contest Guidelines

• On the contest day, a registered team leader proctors the contest in his/her school.

• Students are given 45 minutes to solve 20 problem-solving questions independently.

• Students should be given paper and pencils during the contest. No calculators allowed.

• The team leaders grade the contest papers using the answer keys that we provide.

• The team leaders submit scores through our web site.

• Results are announced approximately 2 weeks after the official contest date.

Recognition and Awards

National:

• The top 10% in each grade will receive a 'National Honor Roll' medal and will be announced on our web site.

Team:

• The highest scorer from each team will receive a 'Team Winner' medal.

Only individual achievements will be recognized. We don't compare school or team results at this point.
