Dear Parents/Guardians, We are excited to announce that [school name] will be hosting the Noetic Learning Math Contest (NLMC) this year and your child has been selected to participate! The NLMC is one of the leading math contests in the United States for elementary and middle school students. In the 2024-2025 academic year, more than 60,000 students across the country participated in the contest. The goal of the contest is to spark students' interest in math, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and give them an opportunity to shine on the national stage. During the test, students will apply their problem-solving skills and math concepts learned in the classroom to solve twenty creative math problems independently. The top 10% of students in the nation will earn the National Honor Roll medals and the top 50% of students will receive the Honorable Mention ribbons. Additionally, the top scorer on each team will earn a Team Winner medal. For more information, please visit the Noetic Learning Math Contest website.
