Math Contests - Homeschool Division

Noetic Learning Math Contest is now open to homeschooled students and students who don't belong to a regular school team.     

Frequent Asked Questions about the Homeschool Division

• How do I get my User Name/Password?

After registration, your User Name/Password will appear on the last page of registration and will also appear on the confirmation email we send. If you don't receive your User Name/Password, please email us with your PayPal Receipt No. We are happy to look them up for you.

• How do we receive the contest paper?

After your registration, log in and the contest will be available online from October 26 - 30, 2009.

• How do students take the contest?

Students may work online or print the contest out and work on paper. Answers should always be submitted through the web site .

• Is the test the same as Noetic Learning Math Contest (the non-homeschool division)

  The questions on the test are exactly the same but the format is different. The homeschool version is multiple choice.

• What are the rules for the contest?

We suggest that the person administering the test allow students 40 minutes to work on the contest. Only paper, pencil or pen may be used during the contest. Calculators are not allowed. 

• Can a student take 2 contests?

No. To gain overall accurate results for the division, students can only take the contest at their grade levels.

• How do students find out about their scores?

Students can log on and find out about their individual scores after October 30,2009.

• How do you recognize the winners?

The top 10 students in each grade level in the homeschool division will be recognized on our web site and will receive Achievement Award certificates via email. 

• Why it is not free?

Charging a small fee minimizes abuse of the system which allows us to provide more accurate results.
